An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. I went from Berserker to Soulfist. I may MVP way more on Berserker but Soulfist is so damn fun and satisfying, gives off such a strong Dragonball vibe.
